    It was a lazy weekend and I was making plan to go out for Lunch….Italian, Mexican, Chinese were the options that came up…..Ehhh Not really!! Nothing fared in front of the idea of having a Spicy Fish Tikka sandwich…made to perfection at HOME!!

    Today, I am so excited to share this Fish Tikka Sandwich Recipe with you guys. I love to eat fish because it’s a key component of a healthy diet and a best source of protein and minerals. And I can get lot of energy with eating fish.

    The juicy tender fish marinated in yogurt, lemon juice and tikka spices and the cabbage coleslaw on a crusty bread….a sandwich at its best!!Not only is Fish Tikka delicious the day you make it, if you’re lucky to have some left over the next day, make it into a sandwich.

    Fish Tikka Sandwich

    A simple fish tikka sandwich that can be made with any white fish fillets. Served on toasted bread slices with boiled egg, lettuce leaves and cabbage coleslaw. YUM YUM YUMMY!!

    Ingredients

    Ingredients

    For Fish Tikka

    • 500 gm boneless fish fillets
    • 2 tablespoon plain yogurt
    • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
    • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
    • 1 teaspoon crushed red chili
    • 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
    • salt to taste
    • a pinch of chat masala
    • few drops of oil

    For Fish Tikka Sandwich

    • fish tikka
    • 12 bread slices
    • 1 cup cabbage coleslaw
    • 3 lettuce leaves
    • 3 boiled eggs sliced
    • 3 teaspoon chili sauce
    • butter as required
    • few wooden picks

    Instructions

    Directions

    • Wash and clean the fish.
    • Cut into cubes.Apply salt, red pepper and lemon juice and keep aside.
    • Now add remaining fish tikka ingredients.
    • Cover and marinate for at least 20 minutes to blend flavors.
    • Heat little oil in a grill pan.
    • Grill fish for 5-8 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
    • Toast bread slices with butter.
    • Divide cabbage coleslaw into three slices.
    • Cover the second slice of bread and put fish tikka on it.
    • Cover again and put lettuce leaves and egg slices.
    • Cover with the 4th slice of bread.
    • Cut into four triangular pieces.
    • Secure with wooden picks. Delicious Fish Tikka Sandwich is ready to serve. ENJOY!!

    Notes

    Serving Suggestions:
    Serve with creamy veggie salad.

    • 12 white bread slices, edges cut off
    • 1 cup cooked chicken, cut into slices
    • 2 teaspoon butter
    • 4 tablespoon mayonnaise
    • 1 teaspoon mustard paste
    • 1 tomato, thinly sliced
    • 4 cheese slices
    • 4 fried eggs
    • 4 lettuce leaves

    For Serving:

    • Tomato Sauce
    • French Fries

    Directions:

    Step 1

    Spread butter on one side of bread slices.

    Step 2

    Toast on the hot griddle or pan.

    Step 3

    In a small bowl, mix together the mustard and mayonnaise.

    Step 4

    Spread mustard mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice.

    Step 5

    Place lettuce over a toast and cover with a slice of cheese and some cooked chicken.

    Step 6

    Cover with another toast and top with tomato slices.

    Step 7

    Put a fried egg over the tomato.

    Step 8

    Cover with remaining toast, buttered side down.

    Step 9

    Secure together with wooden-picks.

    Step 10

    Cut diagonally into half. Make the other sandwiches with the same method.

    Step 11

    Transfer into a serving platter. Chicken Club Sandwich is ready to serve. ENJOY!

    For Zinger Chicken

    • 2 boneless chicken breast, cut into halves and flattened
    • 2 tablespoon white vinegar
    • 1 tablespoon mustard paste
    • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
    • 1 teaspoon red pepper, crushed
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • salt to taste
    • 2 eggs
    • 1/2 cup plain flour
    • 1/2 cup cornflour
    • 1/4 cup rice flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    • oil for deep frying

    For Club Sandwich:

    • 12 bread slices
    • 1 cup coleslaw salad
    • 4 lettuce leaves
    • 4 tablespoon chili garlic sauce
    • 4 cheese slices

    For Serving

    • French fries
    • coleslaw salad

    Directions:

    To make Zinger Chicken

    Step 1

    First flatten chicken breast halves with a kitchen hammer.

    Step 2

    Place chicken breasts in a large bowl. Add mustard paste, vinegar, soy sauce, salt , red pepper and garlic powder. Mix until well coated.

    Step 3

    Cover and marinate for 3o minutes.

    Step 4

    In a shallow bowl, combine together the flours, white pepper, baking powder and a pinch of salt.

    Step 5

    Beat eggs in another bowl and keep aside.

    Step 6

    First coat the marinated chicken with flour mixture.

    Step 7

    Then dip in egg and again repeat this mixture to make thick coating.

    Step 8

    Now heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.

    Step 9

    Deep fry chicken for 5-7 minutes then put the lid on and cook another 8 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.

    Step 10

    Remove from the oil and drain on kitchen paper.

    Step 11

    Keep warm.

    To Make Zinger Club Sandwich

    Step 1

    Toast bread slices.

    Step 2

    Put four zinger chicken pieces on 4 bread slices.

    Step 3

    Put cheese slices over them.

    Step 4

    Cover with another 4 bread slices.

    Step 5

    Now layer chili garlic sauce and coleslaw salad over them

    Step 6

    Put lettuce leaves over them. Cover with remaining four bread slices.

    Step 7

    Cut zinger club sandwich into triangles.

    Step 8

    Secure with wooden picks. Zinger Club Sandwich is ready to serve. ENJOY!!

    Ingredients

    • 300 gm boneless chicken
    • 8 bread slices
    • 1 cup mayonnaise
    • 1/2 cup tomato ketchup
    • 1/2 cup cabbage, shredded
    • 1 tbsp Barbecue sauce
    • 1 tbsp vinegar
    • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
    • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
    • 1 tsp cumin seeds
    • 1 tsp red chili powder
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • Salad leaves as required
    • Cucumber as required
    • a piece of coal

    Directions:

    1. Marinate chicken with cumin seeds, red chili powder, barbecue sauce, vinegar, ginger garlic paste, oil and salt.
    2. Leave it for 30 minutes.
    3. Now place marinated chicken in a pan.
    4. Cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes or until no longer pink.
    5. Place a inflamed piece of coal in a small cup.
    6. Put it on top of the chicken.
    7. Cover tightly with a lid and leave it for 10 minutes.
    8. In a small bowl, combine together mayonnaise and cabbage.
    9. Toast bread slices on a pan.
    10. Spread mayonnaise on a bread slice.
    11. Place a piece of BBQ chicken on it.
    12. Spread tomato ketchup.
    13. Top with salad leave and cucumber slices.
    14. Cover with another slice of bread.
    15. Cut it into half.
    16. BBQ Sandwiches are ready to serve.
    • Enjoy with french fries.
