- 4 large chicken pieces
- 4 tablespoon yogurt
- 4 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoon mustard paste
- 2 tablespoon ginger paste
- 1 tablespoon garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon white pepper
- salt to taste
- oil for greasing

Directions:

Step 1
Wash chicken properly and pat dry.
Step 2
Cut horizontal slits down the length of each chicken piece to create spaces for the marinade to penetrate the meat.
Step 3
In a small bowl, combine together the yogurt, mustard paste, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, white pepper and salt.
Step 4
Spread this mixture over the chicken. Make sure to coat evenly.
Step 5
Cover and marinate for 2 hours to blend flavors.
Step 6
Preheat a charcoal grill over medium heat.
Step 7
Lightly grease the grill grate with oil or butter.
Step 8
Place chicken pieces on the grill grate and grill on each side for 10 minutes or until all juices run clear and chicken is no longer pink.
Step 9
Remove from the grill.
Step 10
Garnish with salad leaves, tomato and cucumber slices. Delicious African Tikka is ready to serve. ENJOY!!
