  • Recipe: Crispy Chicken Slice

    Crispy Chicken Slice

    Ingredients

    • 500 gm boneless chicken, cut into long strips
    • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
    • 1 tbsp mustard paste
    • 1 tbsp vinegar
    • 1/2 cup cornflour
    • 1 cup breadcrumbs
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 tsp black pepper
    • 1 tsp red chilli
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • Oil for frying

     

    Directions:

    1. Rinse and drain chicken properly.
    2. Cut chicken into 2 inch strips.
    3. Place chicken strips into a bowl.
    4. Add mustard paste, vinegar, ginger garlic paste, black pepper, red chilli and salt.
    5. Mix well to coat chicken evenly.
    6. Cover and keep aside for 30 minutes.
    7. Sprinkle corn flour over it and mix well.
    8. In a small bowl, Beat eggs.
    9. Dip chicken strips in eggs and then roll them in bread crumbs.
    10. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
    11. Place coated chicken strips in hot oil.
    12. Fry for 8-10 minutes or until chicken is tender and turn golden brown.
    13. Crispy Chicken Slices are ready to serve.

    Serving Suggestions:

    Step 1

    In a shallow bowl, whisk egg and buttermilk. Place flour, garlic powder, pepper, paprika and salt in another shallow bowl. Mix well.

    Step 2

    Dip chicken strips in egg mixture, then coat with flour mixture.

    Step 3

    Heat oil in an electric skillet to 375 degree F. Fry chicken, a few pieces at a time, for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.

    Step 4

    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Southern Fried Chicken Strips are ready now.
