    Any meat eaters who do not like fried chicken? Isn’t chicken awesome? So many ways to cook it! Well here is my version of crispy fried chicken that will absolutely leave you wanting MORE! [highlight]On the PLUS side, it is sooo easy to make _ an absolute no fail recipe[/highlight]. It’s not an exact match for KFC but its fairly close and tastes great. You can also use the mixed spices on chicken, etc. I am still working on perfecting it, messing around with different spices and the amounts but its a good place to start.

    With the summer in full swing, this easy fried chicken recipe is suddenly a favorite in the house for quick meals. This fried chicken recipe can be twisted and turned to suit the occasion.     • Take a shallow bowl, add 1/2 cup flour and coconut milk to it. Mix well.
    • Place remaining flour, salt, garlic powder, ginger and cayenne in another shallow bowl.
    • Dip chicken in the coconut milk mixture then coat with flour.
    • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Brown chicken in batches.
    • Remove from the oil and transfer to a greased 13×9-inch. baking dish.
    • Bake, uncovered, at 400 degree F, for 30 minutes or until all juices run clear.

    TO MAKE SAUCE:

    • Meanwhile, take a small saucepan, combine the water, brown sugar, soy sauce, cornstarch, vinegar, peanut butter, cayenne and ginger to it.
    • Bring to a boil then reduce heat to medium-low.
    • Cook for 2-3 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
    • Sprinkle with cilantro.
    • Thai Fried Chicken is ready now.

    • 8 chicken wings with skin
    • 2 eggs
    • 6 green chilies
    • 4 tablespoon flour
    • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
    • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
    • 1/2 teaspoon chili sauce
    • 1/4 teaspoon soy sauce
    • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
    • 1/4 teaspoon chicken masala
    • a pinch of red color
    • 1/2 cup water
    • Oil for deep frying
    • Salt to taste.

    Step 1

    Cut the wings into two, chop the end bone,pull the flesh up with the skin and remove the thin bone and mould into a lollipop.

    Step 2

    Boil the lollipops with ½ cup water, ½ tsp.salt for 5 minutes.

    Step 3

    Remove and cool.

    Step 4

    Mix all ingredients thoroughly, except lollipops and prepare a thick batter.

    Step 5

    Heat oil in a deep pan, dip lollipop into the thick batter and fry on medium heat to a light brown colour.

    Step 6

    Remove from the oil and absorb on paper towel. Chicken Lollipop is ready to serve.

    Step 1

    Cut chicken into 1 inch strips and set aside.

    Step 2

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

    Step 3

    Place flour and garlic pepper in a shallow dish. Stir well. In a separate bowl, add buttermilk, eggs and barbeque sauce. Whisk together until smooth.

    Step 4

    Roll chicken strips in flour mixture, turn to coat evenly. Then dip into the buttermilk mixture.
    Again roll in the flour mixture.

    Masala Fried Broast

    You all must be familiar with Pakistani version of Kentucky chicken popularly known as “Chicken Broast”. Now try out this spicy version of chicken broast standing up to its name.

    Prep Time: 20 minutes

    Cook Time:30 minutes

    Servings: 4

    Ingredients

    • 1 whole chicken with skin
    • 1/2 cup flour
    • 1/2 cup self raising flour
    • 1 egg
    • 2 tbsp milk
    • 2 tbsp lemon juice
    • 1 tsp black pepper
    • 1 tsp chat Masala
    • 1 tsp salt
    • Oil for frying

     

    Directions:

    1. Cut chicken into 8 large pieces.
    2. Place chicken in a large bowl.
    3. Add lemon juice and mix well.
    4. Season with salt and black pepper.
    5. Marinate for 20 minutes.
    6. In a small bowl, beat egg with milk.
    7. Combine flour and self raising flour in a shallow dish.
    8. Dip each chicken piece in beaten egg then put into flour.
    9. Roll well in flour mixture twice.
    10. Heat oil in a deep pan or skillet over medium heat.
    11. Deep fry chicken for 20 minutes or until golden and crisp.
    12. Remove from the oil and drain on kitchen paper.
    13. Sprinkle chat Masala over it .
    14. Masala Fried Broast is ready to serve.
    • Enjoy with French Fries and Tomato Chutney.
