    Tandoori Chicken Pizza Recipe

    Ingredients

    For Pizza Dough

    • 2 cups plain flour
    • 1 egg
    • 1-1/2 teaspoon instant yeast
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 3 tablespoon oil
    • 1-1/2 tablespoon dry milk powder 1 teaspoon caster sugar
    • Luke warm water as required

    For Pizza Sauce

    • 2 tablespoon oil
    • 2 tablespoon tomato ketchup
    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic paste
    • 1/2 cup tomato paste
    • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

    For Chicken Tikka

    • 2 boneless chicken breasts
    • 4 tablespoon tikka masala powder
    • 2 tablespooon lemon juice
    • 1/2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste

    For Topping

    • 1 onion cut into cubes
    • 1 capsicum cut into cubes
    • 1 to mato cut into cubes
    • 3 tablespoon sweet corn
    • 3 tablespoom mushrooms
    • 3 tablespoon black olives
    • 1 teaspoon oregano leaves
    • 1 cup cheddar cheese
    • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese

    Instructions

    Method

      To Make Pizza dough

      • Place flour, salt, instant yeast, egg, dry milk powder, caster sugar, oil in a large bowl. Mix well.
      • Add very little water for binding and knead a soft dough. Note: The dough should be soft after mixing the ingredients.
      • After binding, take out the mixture and strike it on a smooth surface for 5 times.
      • Sprinkle little flour on the dry surface and roll the dough.
      • For thin and crispy pizza, dough should be 1/8th inch thick after rolling.
      • Place the rolled dough on a pizza pan and prick it with knife or fork.
      • Place this pan for 8 minutes in a preheated oven.

      To Make Pizza Sauce

      • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
      • Add garlic paste and stir fry for 1-2 minutes or until lightly browned.
      • Now add tomato paste, red chilli powder, salt, oregano and ketchup.
      • Cook for 2 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
      • Take it out in a bowl.
      • Pizza Sauce is ready now. Use this sauce when it’s cold.

      To Make Chicken Tikka

      • Place chicken in a large bowl.
      • Apply tikka masala, lemon juice and ginger garlic paste over the chicken.
      • Cover and marinate for 30 minutes.
      • Heat oil in a pan or wok over medium high heat.
      • Cook chicken for 15 minutes or until chicken is cooked thorough.
      • Place 2 coal pieces in th pan and cover for 4-5 minutes.
      • Chicken Tikka is ready now.

      To Make Tandoori Chicken Pizza

      • Preheat oven to 180 degree C.
      • Roll out the dough
      • Place in a 10-inch Pizza pan.
      • Spread pizza sauce over the dough.
      • Sprinkle 2 tablespoon cheddar cheese about over it.
      • Place chicken Tikka pieces on it.
      • Layer onion, tomato, capsicum, sweet corn, mushrooms, olives and oregano leaves.
      • Top with cheddar cheese and Mozzarella cheese.
      • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Delicious Chicken Tikka Pizza is ready to serve.

      Notes

      Serving Suggestions:
      Serve with Chili Garlic Sauce.

      Ingredients

      For Dough

      • 375 gm plain flour
      • 1 egg
      • 2 tsp oil
      • 1 tsp sugar
      • 1 tsp yeast
      • 1/4 tsp salt
      • Warm water as required

      For Filling

      • 300 gm boneless chicken
      • 4 black olives thinly sliced
      • 4 mushrooms thinly sliced
      • 1 cup sliced onion
      • 1/2 cup green bell pepper chopped
      • 1 cup pizza sauce
      • 1 tsp dried oregano
      • 1 tsp red chili flakes
      • 1 tsp ginger paste
      • 1 tsp garlic paste
      • 1 tsp chaat masala
      • 1/4 tsp chaat masala
      • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese grated
      • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese grated

      Instructions

      Method

        To Make Pizza Dough

        • Place flour, egg, yeast, sugar, oil and salt in a bowl.
        • Knead a soft dough by using warm water.
        • Keep aside.

        To make Filling

        • Cut chicken into small pieces.
        • Then place in a medium bowl.
        • Add red chili powder, salt, ginger garlic paste and chaat masala.
        • Mix well.
        • Then cook in a pot for 15-20 minutes or all juice runs clear.
        • Remove from the heat.

        To Proceed

        • Now make small balls out of the dough.
        • Roll them with pin roll.
        • Spread pizza sauce each of them.
        • Put chicken, mushrooms, olives, capsicum, onions, and oregano,
        • Season with salt and pepper.
        • Sprinkle grated mozzarella and cheddar cheese over it.
        • Preheat oven to 200 degree C.
        • Bake prepared pizzas for 15 minutes or until well done.
        • Quick Baby Pizzas are ready to serve.

        Notes

        Serving Suggestions:
        Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

        Ingredients

        • 300 gm boneless chicken, cubed

        • 1/2 tsp salt
        • 1 tbsp vinegar
        • 1 tbsp soy sauce
        • 1 tsp garlic paste

        For Pizza Topping

        • 1 cup pizza sauce
        • 10 black olives
        • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
        • 1/2 tsp oregano
        • 1 cup mushrooms
        • 1 tomato, thinly sliced
        • 1 capsicum, thinly sliced

        For Pizza Dough:

        • 1-1/2 cup plain flour
        • 1 tsp yeast ( dissolve in luke warm water with 1 tbsp sugar)
        • 1/2 tsp salt
        • 1 egg
        • 2 tbsp oil

        Yield: 4 servings

        Directions:

        1. In a large bowl, add chicken, chilli sauce, black pepper, soy sauce, salt, vinegar, and garlic.
        2. Mix to coat evenly.
        3. Marinate for 25 minutes in the refrigerator.
        4. Now cook chicken in a pan over medium heat, until tender.
        5. Keep aside.
        6. In another large bowl, combine the flour, salt, egg and yeast mixture.
        7. Knead a soft dough with Luke warm water.
        8. Preheat oven to 180 degree C.
        9. Now place dough in the oven until rise and doubled.
        10. Roll dough and put in a baking tray.
        11. Spread little oil over it.
        12. Now pierce the dough  with a fork.
        13. Spread chilli sauce over the dough.
        14. Layer chicken cubes,mozzarella cheese, mushrooms, tomato, capsicum and olives on it.
        15. Sprinkle with oregano.
        16. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until crust is crispy and cheese is melted.
        17. Remove from oven and cut into slices.
        18. Chicken Fajita Pizza is ready to serve.

        Serving Suggestions;

        • Serve with Tomato Ketchup.

        Goodbye to restaurant style pizzas, I really mean it…I can’t tell you how often I get asked to make pizza at home.

        I made this pizza last night for a quick dinner. I had been roaming around with the recipe for making the perfect pizza for so long and the thought of topping the pizza crust with minced triggered me last night all of a sudden. I had no other choice but to execute my idea.
        When it came to top the pizza crust, I went a little overboard and made ground chicken sauce.Topped the crust with the ground chicken and then with veggies, olives generously sprinkled mozzarella cheese and herbs and baked it in the oven for 30 minutes. For the entire 30 minutes, I literally peeped into the oven window and enjoyed the amazing show of crust puffing up, ground chicken getting browned and the cheese getting melted, what a divine pleasure it was!!!
        Each step I did with so much passion and waited so eagerly to have a bite of this pizza. As the pizza came out perfectly baked with a soft crust and the mince topping on it along with the melted golden cheese on it, the mere sight of it made me go wild. I screamed out of joy and I burned my tongue out of greed!

        For this recipe I used pre-made pizza base, sauce and toppings.The fresh and juicy taste of fried mince, Italian pizza sauce, and vegetables are really an awesome treat for your tongue. Make a try and enjoy the original taste:-)

        Do try it. It’s a quick meal with most ingredients from the cupboard. My family really like it. It’s homemade pizza, so women are going to like it. It’s topped with ground chicken sauce, so men are going to love it. It has cheese on it, so kids are going to enjoy it of course in a messy way. After finishing up the pizza, everyone is going to go wild!!!

        This Easy Mince Pizza Recipe is for all those who want to prepare pizza at home but have not tried yet because making dough is not a quick process.It will reward you with infallible pizzas every time.

        Ingredients

        For Mince

        • 500 gm chicken mince
        • 6 mushrooms thinly sliced
        • 1 medium onion chopped
        • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
        • 2 green chilies minced
        • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
        • 1 teaspoon crushed red chili
        • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
        • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
        • 1/4 teaspoon rosemary optional
        • salt to taste

        For Pizza Filling & Topping

        • 1 large ball of premade pizza dough
        • 1-1/2 cup cooked chiken mince
        • 1 cup pizza sauce
        • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
        • 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese
        • 1 small onion thinly sliced
        • 1 small capsicum thinly sliced
        • 1 small tomato deseeded & thinly sliced
        • 4 olives thinly sliced
        • 1 teaspoon herb seasoning
        • 2 pinch oregano

        Instructions

        • Start making the mince by heating some oil in a pan over medium heat.
        • Then saute onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
        • Now add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute without browning, then add the minced meat and green chilies.
        • Cook and stir well for few minutes or until lightly browned.
        • Season with salt, pepper, basil and rosemary.
        • Add mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes or until all water dries up and mince is cooked thoroughly.
        • Roll out the dough in the circle or a desired shape (I use my deep dish pizza pan, 3×12″ ), Pushing gently until fairly thin and prick the dough all over with a fork.
        • Spread on the sauce almost to the edges and sprinkle on the oregano.
        • Top generously with the shredded cheddar cheese, chicken mince, arrange some onion and pepper, tomato slices, olives over it.
        • Grate on Mozzarella to taste and sprinkle herb seasoning then place in the oven to bake for 30 minutes, or until the crust is puffy, crisp and slightly blistered.
        • Take out of oven, let sit for a few minutes, then slice, sprinkle with red pepper flakes and serve warm.

        Step 5

        The potatoes will all come together into one layer and will be easy to flip.

        Meanwhile, In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the milk, salt, red chili flakes, parsley and oregano.

        Spread tomato and chili garlic sauce over the potatoes.

        Pour the eggs over it and cover again for 2 minutes or until the eggs start to set.

        Step 10

        When the eggs start to cook from the edges, top with cheese. Reserve 2 tablespoon cheese.

        Step 11

        Sprinkle with the green peppers, onions, mushrooms and tomatoes.

        Then top with the remaining cheese.

        Step 13

        Put the lid on and cook on low heat for 2-3 minutes or until the egg cooked through and the cheese has melted and bubbly.

        Step 1

        Mix first three ingredients and knead well into a soft dough.

        Put dough into a bowl and cover the bowl with a damp cloth and set aside for 1 hour.

        Take the flour dough and pat some dry flour on it and knead again for a few minutes.

        Make small lemon sized balls out of the complete dough.

        Take a ball and flatten it using a roller.

        Spread tomato paste all over leaving a 2/3 cm border.

        Step 8

        Fold into a semi circle and roll it out again.

        Step 9

        Fold again into a quarter of a circle. Roll it out into a triangle pizza shape.

        Step 10

        Heat a non stick pan and spread clarified butter or on it.

        Step 11

        Cook the pizza paratha on one side until it puffs up and is brown on one side.

        Step 12

        Spread some clarified butter or oil on raw side and flip it over and cook other side well. Pizza Paratha is ready to serve.

        Ingredients

        For Dough

        • 2 cups flour
        • 2 tbsp oil
        • 1 tsp instant yeast
        • 1/2 tsp sugar
        • 1/4 tsp salt

        For Filling

        • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese grated
        • 1 cup chicken tikka shredded
        • 1 capsicum cut into cubes
        • 1 to mato cut into cubes
        • 1 onion cut into cubes
        • 1 tsp oregano leaves

        Instructions

        • In a bowl, combine together flour, salt, sugar, Instant yeast and oil.
        • Knead a soft dough with lukewarm water.
        • Leave it to rise for 30 minutes.
        • Preheat oven to 200 degree C.
        • Grease a pizza pan with butter.
        • Divide pizza dough into 3 equal portions.
        • Roll pizza dough into 3 circles size of a quarter plate.
        • On one half of each circle sprinkle cheese, tomato, onion, capsicum and shredded chicken Tikka.
        • Sprinkle oregano over it.
        • Top with grated cheese.
        • Brush the edges of each pizza base with oil.
        • Fold the plain half over to form a semi circle.
        • Press the edges firmly.
        • Place pizza pockets on greased pizza pan.
        • Brush with oil.
        • Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
        • Cut into half.
        • Pizza Pockets are ready to serve.

        Notes

        Serving Suggestions:
        Serve with Chili Garlic sauce.

        Step 1

        Preheat the oven to 450° F.

        Step 2

        Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Saute garlic in oil for 1 minutes or until fragrant. Stir in chicken strips; cook for 2-3 minutes or until heated through.

        Step 3

        Spread sauce over the pizza crust. Sprinkle on some of the cheese. Arrange chicken strips and black beans over it. Top with jalapeno slices. Sprinkle remaining cheese and dried parsley over it.

        Step 4

        Place pizza in the preheated oven on the oven rack. Bake for 15 minutes or until crust is crispy and cheese is melted. Cut into wedges. Black and White Pizza is ready to serve. Enjoy!!

        I Love Pizza.But I never buy frozen pizza.Why?? Because I have found several alternative options that are fresher, tastier, healthier, and often cheaper than frozen grocery store pizza. Pita bread pizza is one of those options.

        Using Pita Bread As Pizza Crust

        There are typically many different kinds and brands of pita bread in the grocery store. It’s a cheap food item that can be used in many different ways, from making sandwiches, wraps to homemade pita chips.

        I made these Pita Pizzas on a rainy Sunday Evening. You know those weekends when you’re feeling slightly lazy, but still want a homemade meal, and something that is special, but not too much work? Anyone with me? Well, it was one of those days and this simple Barbecue Chicken Pita Pizzas recipe came in really handy especially with ready made pita bread (or you could make your own).

        Indulge your love for pizza with these Pita pizza’s!! If you prefer a crisp pizza crust, heat the pita bread in the oven for a few minutes before adding toppings. The pizzas in the photo above are topped with tomato sauce, tomato, mushrooms, onion,green pepper, Barbecue Chicken, and cheese.

        Barbecue Chicken Pita Pizzas

        An easy to make BBQ flavor pizza recipe with chicken and barbecue sauce; top with lots of cheese , mushrooms and veggies. Enjoy the tangy taste of this pita pizzas. Simple and Flavorful.

        Ingredients

        • 4 6 inches each pita bread
        • 1 cup cooked chicken cubed
        • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
        • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
        • 1 can 4 ounces chopped green chilies
        • 1 can 4 ounces mushroom stems and pieces, drained
        • 1 small tomato chopped
        • 1 green pepper chopped
        • 1 small onion chopped

        Instructions

        Method

        • Place pita breads in a baking sheet. Spread barbecuePizza sauce over the pitas.
        • Place chicken over them.
        • Sprinkle with cheese.
        • Top with tomato, onion, green pepper, chilies and mushrooms.
        • Bake at 450 degree F, for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and heated through.
        • Remove from the oven and cut into wedges. Barbecue Chicken Pita Pizzas are ready to serve. ENJOY!!

        Preheat oven to 400° F or 200° C. Lightly grease a 9×13-in. baking dish.

        Step 2

        In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium high heat until evenly brown. Stir in pizza sauce. Remove from the heat and keep aside.

        Step 3

        Cut buttermilk biscuits into quarters.Place biscuits quarters in the bottom of baking dish. Spread beef mixture evenly over the biscuits. Arrange onion,tomato, olives and mushrooms over the biscuits.

        Step 4

        Bake, uncovered, for 20 minutes. Top with cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Bake 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Allow to cool for 10 minutes. Bubble Pizza is ready now.
