Wash fish fillets and pat dry.
Sprinkle turmeric powder, salt and lemon juice over the fish. Toss the coat evenly.
Let it marinate for 2-3 hours.
In a large bowl, mix together the plain flour, garlic paste, mango powder, red chili, crushed red chili, carom seeds, cumin powder.Mix well.

After 40 minutes, heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Deep fry fish for 12-15 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
Don't overcook.
Remove from the oil and drain on kitchen paper.
Transfer into a serving dish.
Garnish with lemon or orange slices.
