- 2 cups wheat flour
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter or desi ghee
- water for knead the dough

Directions:

Step 1
Mix flour, salt and required water to make a dough consistency.
Step 2
Rub oil over and knead it soft.
Step 3
Let it rest for an hour.
Step 4
Make lemon sized balls out of the dough.
Step 5
Roll two balls into the small rounds (roti).
Step 6
Apply some butter or ghee on one round (roti).
Step 7
Cover with plan round.
Step 8
Seal the edges carefully and start rolling to form a round bread.
Step 9
Now make impressions with a fork.
Step 10
Heat a flat pan or griddle (tawa),when it gets hot add the paratha and let it cook for a minute.
Step 11
When it starts to get small bubbles turn around and add a small tsp of desi ghee around the paratha.
Step 12
When the brown spots appear take it out.
Step 13
Keep it in an in a covered box. Butter Paratha is ready to serve. Enjoy!
