- 500 gm boneless chicken, cubed
- 1 cup chopped cabbage
- 1/2 cup grated carrots
- 5 tbsp gram flour
- 3 tbsp chopped fresh coriander
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp tandoori masala powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- oil for frying

Step 1
Place chicken, cabbage and carrots in a large bowl. Season with turmeric, red chili, coriander, cumin, tandoori Masala and salt.
Add fresh coriander. Mix until well coated.
Step 2
Stir in gram flour. Add just enough water. Make a smooth, thick batter that clings the chicken and vegetables. Mix well.
Step 3
Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and cook for 8 minutes or until chicken is cooked thorough.
Step 4
Turn the heat up. Fry chicken pakoras 3-4 minutes longer or until golden and crispy.
Step 5
Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels. Chicken Pakora is ready to serve.
