No matter how much we want to watch our weight we still end up craving for pakoras every single evening in Ramadan and rainy season. Now let your Pakora craving go wild because we are blessed with Ramadan and rains at the same time this year. These delicious Prawn pakora perfect to celebrate any party or occasion. - 1/2 kg large prawns, cleaned and marinated with chili and salt
- 1 cup moong dal, soaked and ground into a smooth paste
- 2 green chillies, chopped
- 2 medium sized onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon chickpea flour (besan)
- 1 tablespoon cornflour
- salt to taste
- Oil for frying

Step 1
In a large bowl, mix together the chickpea flour (besan), cornflour, moong dal paste and salt.
Step 2
Add thinly sliced onions and chopped green chillies into the batter.
Step 3
Heat oil in a deep wok or karahi over medium high heat.
Step 4
Now take the marinated prawns and dip them one by one into the batter.
Step 5
Deep fry until crispy and golden brown. Prawn Pakora’s are ready to serve.
