Step 1
In a shallow bowl, whisk egg and buttermilk. Place flour, garlic powder, pepper, paprika and salt in another shallow bowl. Mix well.
Step 2
Dip chicken strips in egg mixture, then coat with flour mixture.
Step 3
Heat oil in an electric skillet to 375 degree F. Fry chicken, a few pieces at a time, for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
Step 4
