    • 12 (about 2 pounds) whole chicken wings
    • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
    • 3/4 cup soy sauce
    • 1/4 cup water
    • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
    • 1 tsp garlic powder

    Method:

    • Cut chicken wings into three sections; discard wing tips.
    • Set aside.
    • In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, water, Dijon mustard and garlic powder.
    • Keep aside 1/4 cup for basting. Cover and refrigerate.
    • Place the chicken wings in a large resealable plastic bag.
    • Pour the remaining marinade over the wings.
    • Shake to coat.
    • Seal the bag and refrigerate overnight.
    • Drain and discard marinade.
    • Arrange chicken wings in a shallow baking pan.
    • Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 55-60 minutes, basting with reserved soy sauce mixture during the last 30 minutes of baking.

    • 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour, divided
    • 1 cup coconut milk
    • 1/4 cup canola oil
    • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

    FOR SAUCE:

    • 1 cup water
    • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
    • 1/4 cup soy sauce
    • 3-1/2 tsp cornstarch
    • 3 tbsp minced fresh cilantro
    • 2 tsp rice vinegar
    • 2 tsp peanut butter
    • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

    Method:

    • Take a shallow bowl, add 1/2 cup flour and coconut milk to it. Mix well.
    • Place remaining flour, salt, garlic powder, ginger and cayenne in another shallow bowl.
    • Dip chicken in the coconut milk mixture then coat with flour.
    • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Brown chicken in batches.
    • Remove from the oil and transfer to a greased 13×9-inch. baking dish.

    • Meanwhile, take a small saucepan, combine the water, brown sugar, soy sauce, cornstarch, vinegar, peanut butter, cayenne and ginger to it.
