    Chicken Russian Kebabs Recipe

    Prep Time 10 minutes
    Cook Time 30 minutes
    Total Time 40 minutes

    Ingredients

    • 4 boneless chicken breasts
    • 3 eggs
    • 2 tbsp butter
    • 1 green bell pepper finely chopped
    • 1 boiled carrot finelt chopped
    • 2 cups boiled potatoes
    • 1/2 cup sweet corn
    • 1/4 cup spring onion finely chopped
    • 4 tbsp plain flour
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • 3 tbsp fresh corinader leaves finely chopped
    • 2 green chilies thinly sliced
    • 1 tsp black pepper
    • 1/2 tsp all spice powder
    • 1 tsp salt
    • Oil for frying

    Instructions

    • Cook chicken for 20-25 minutes or until tender then shredded properly.
    • Set aside.
    • Mash boiled potatoes.
    • Place all ingredients except oil in a large bowl.
    • Mix well.
    • Wet the palms and shape the mixture into oval shapes.
    • Beat egg with salt and pepper.
    • Dip kebabs in egg.
    • Deep fry for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden.
    • Remove from the oil and drain on paper towel.
    • Russian Kebabs are ready to serve. ENJOY!!

    Notes

    Serving Suggestions:
    Serve with tomato ketchup.

    Ingredients

    • 500 gm potatoes
    • 2 tbsp rice flour
    • 1/2 tsp black pepper
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • Oil for frying

    Instructions

    Method

    • Wash potatoes then peel.
    • Cut each potato into two pieces.
    • Now cut into thin slices with a curly cutter.
    • Season with salt and pepper.
    • Sprinkle rice flour over it.
    • Keep aside for 10 minutes.
    • Heat oil in a deep pan over medium high heat.
    • Deep fry potatoes on medium flame for 10-15 minutes or until golden and crispy.
    • Curly Fries are ready to serve.

    Notes

    Serving Suggestions:
    Serve with Tomato ketchup.

  • Recipe: Keema Pakora (Minced Meat Fritters)

    Pakora is a famous snack of Pakistani cuisine and every one like to eat it. Chicken pakoras are common but chicken keema pokaras are rare and delicious so need to try it.I have used chicken keema in this Keema pakora recipe. You may use mutton keema or minced beef also. Do give it an attempt as its easy. In this recipe key ingredient of pakora is chicken mince. Serve these easy to make Keema pakora with imli sauce or ketchup at tea time. Super Easy to make and delicious too.

    Ingredients

    • 250 gm chicken mince Keema
    • 1 egg beaten
    • 1 medium onion chopped
    • 4 green chilies thinly sliced
    • 1/2 cup gram flour
    • 1/4 cup rice flour
    • 3 tbsp fresh coriander leaves chopped
    • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
    • 1 tsp red chili powder
    • 1/2 tsp hot spice
    • 1/4 tsp baking soda
    • salt to taste
    • oil for frying

    Instructions

    Method

    • Put chicken mince in a large bowl.
    • Add ginger garlic paste, chopped onion, egg, green chilies, coriander leaves, red chili, gram flour, rice flour, baking soda, hot spice and salt. Mix well.
    • Add a little water to make a thick batter.
    • Heat sufficient oil in a deep wok.
    • Drop small portions of the batter into the oil with your fingers.
    • Deep fry on medium heat for 10-12 minutes or until golden and crisp.
    • Remove from the oil and drain on an absorbent paper. Keema Pakora is ready to eat. ENJOY!!

    Serve hot with Pakora Dipping Sauce.

    Ingredients

    • 2 boneless chicken breasts cut into strips
    • 1 medium onion
    • 1 capsicum
    • 4 cloves garlic crushed
    • 2 green chilies
    • 6 whole red chilies
    • 2 tbsp coriander leaves
    • 2 eggs
    • 4 tbsp vegetable oil
    • 4 tbsp plain flour
    • 4 tbsp cornflour
    • 2 tbsp semolina
    • 1/2 tsp black pepper
    • salt to taste
    • Oil for frying

    Instructions

    Method

    • In a food processor or a chopper, add onion, capsicum, red chilies, coriander, green chilies and garlic.
    • Process until well combined.
    • Spread this batter on chicken strips.
    • Season with salt and black pepper.
    • Mix well.
    • Marinate for 30 minutes then add beaten eggs, flour, corn flour, semolina and 4 tbsp oil in it.
    • Toss well to coat evenly.
    • Heat oil in a pan.
    • Deep fry chicken strips for 8-10 minutes or until crispy and golden.
    • Spicy Chicken Finger is ready to serve.
    • ENJOY!!

    Semolina Dry Halwa Recipe

    Ingredients

    • 250 gm sugar
    • 150 gm clarified butter
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
    • 2 tablespoon raisins
    • 2 tablespoon dried desiccated coconut
    • 50 gm almonds thinly sliced
    • 50 gm pistachios thinly sliced

    Instructions

    Method

    • Take a saucepan, combine sugar and water and cook on low heat for 10 minutes or until sugar is completely dissolved and the syrup thickens to a two thread consistency.
    • Meanwhile, heat 50 gm clarified butter in a deep wok.
    • Add semolina and stir fry for few minutes on low heat until it becomes fragrant.
    • Add desiccated coconut, raisins, nuts and cardamom powder; cook for a few minutes.
    • Add the hot thick sugar syrup and remaining melted ghee all at once, stirring continuously.
    • Cook for a couple of minutes till it is almost dry and halwa rolls into a ball.
    • Quickly spread out in a greased dish.
    • Garnish with almonds and pistachios.
    • Using a sharp knife, mark lines to make squares or diamonds and keep aside to set.
    • When it cools, cut through the scored lines.
    • Transfer to serving plate or store in air-tight container. Semolina Dry Halwa ready to enjoy!! 🙂

    Serve Semolina Dry Halwa as a dessert after any meal or you can enjoy it as a tea time snack.

  • Recipe: Keema Cutlets (Mince Patties)

    Keema Cutlets (Mince Patties)

    A mouth-watering mince cutlets with a delicate combination of potato, mince(keema), and spices. Its a perfect side dish or snack for your family. Check it out the Keema Cutlet recipe here!!

    Prep Time: 25 minutes

    Cook Time: 20 minutes

    Servings: 6

    Ingredients

    • 500 gm Mutton Keema
    • 2 lb potatoes
    • 4 onions, chopped thinly
    • 4 cloves
    • 4 cinnamon sticks
    • 4 cardamoms
    • 8 garlic flakes
    • Small piece ginger
    • 2 tsp poppy seeds
    • 2 eggs
    • salt, turmeric, red chilli powder
    • 4 tsp besan flour
    • Oil for deep frying
    • Few coriander leaves and curry leaves, finely chopped

     

    Directions:

    Step 1

    Boil potatoes, peel the skin and mash the potatoes.

    Step 2

    Grind ginger and garlic to fine paste. Grind cloves, cinnamon, cardamoms and poppy seeds.

    Step 3

    Add this to mashed potato mixture then add coriander leaves and curry leaves and mix well.

    Step 4

    Wash keema.

    Step 5

    Add onions, salt, chilli powder and turmeric to keema, mix well add some water and cook.

    Step 6

    When cooked grind this and add ginger-garlic paste and mashed potato mixture to it.

    Step 7

    Take besan flour and add some water and beat eggs in that and mix well.

    Step 8

    Heat oil in a shallow pan over medium heat. Take Keema mixture and make small balls.

    Step 9

    Take each ball and dip in the besan flour mixture and put them in oil and fry until golden brown.

    Step 10

    Deep fry all the keema balls. Keema Cutlet is ready to serve.

    Serving Suggestions:

    • Serve hot with tamarind sauce.

    • 1 tsp red chili powder
    • 1 tsp cumin seeds
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • oil for frying

    Instructions

    Method

    • Soak 4 slices of bread in water then gently squeeze out the water.
    • Place potatoes and bread slices in a large bowl. Slightly mash the boiled potatoes, add the spices and salt. Now add fresh coriander, mint, green chilies and garlic.
    • Mix well.
    • Shape into kebabs.
    • Dip tikki in egg then fry until golden brown. Sindhi Aloo Tikki is ready to serve.

    • 500 gm boiled potatoes
    • 500 gm cottage cheese, grated
    • 2 onions, finely chopped
    • 1 tsp ginger- garlic paste
    • 1 tsp red chili powder
    • 1/2 tsp chaat masala
    • 1/2 tsp black pepper
    • 1/4 tsp mango powder
    • salt to taste
    • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
    • 1 cup breadcrumbs
    • oil for frying

    Step 1

    Peel potatoes and mash them properly. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

    Step 2

    Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry chopped onions and ginger-garlic paste for 2-3 minutes.

    Step 3

    Then add red chilly powder,chaat Masala,black pepper,mango powder and salt. Cook for 2 minutes.
    Add grated cheese and mix well.

    Step 4

    Make round balls of mashed balls. Add cheese stuffing into it. Form into roll shape.

    Step 5

    Dip rolls in beaten egg. Then place in breadcrumbs and coat them well.

    Step 6

    Heat oil in a frying pan over medium high heat. Fry in hot oil for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towel. Potato Paneer Roll is ready to serve. ENJOY!!

    Ingredients

    • 8 Eggs
    • 1 cup fenugreek Leaves chopped
    • 3 tablespoon fresh Coriander leaves chopped
    • 2 green Chillies finely chopped
    • 3 stalks Spring Onions finely chopped
    • 4 tablespoon chickpea flour or besan
    • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin Powder
    • 1/2 teaspon red chilli powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon Carom Seeds/ajwain optional
    • 1 teaspoon Chaat Masala
    • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
    • salt to taste
    • Oil for deep frying

    Instructions

    Method

    • Boil the eggs till hard and well cooked.
    • Drain and dunk in cold water.
    • Remove the shell and chop the eggs.
    • Mix fenugreek leaves (methi), coriander leaves,green chillies and spring onions in a bowl and add gram flour to it and mix well.
    • Now add carom seeds, red chilli powder, chaat masala, cumin powder, soda bicarbonate and salt to it and mix well.
    • Add chopped boiled egg to the mixture and splash a little water and combine the ingredients well.
    • In a wok, heat sufficient oil over medium heat.
    • Now take a spoonful of the egg mixture and gently fry it in the oil.
    • Fry the pakoras in small batches till golden brown in color and perfectly cooked.
    • Drain into a paper towel. Egg Fenugreek Pakora is ready to serve.

    Serving Suggestions:
    Serve hot with your favorite chutney or dip.

    These rolls are so successful at my house, they were gone in no time. The beauty of the rolls is that are made in egg roll wrappers and are fried. I love cooking with egg roll wrappers and wonton wrappers because they are so versatile, you can really fill them with anything and are just super delicious. Of course you can bake them, or you can fry them, it all depends if you care about the extra calories or not.

    I chose to use simple egg filling for these rolls. Personally I also love chopped mushrooms and grated cheese in egg rolls. A lip-smacking Evening Snack.

    • 6 roll wraps
    • 4 boiled eggs chopped
    • 2 green chilies chopped
    • 1/4 cup green coriander chopped
    • 2 tbsp cornflour
    • 1/2 tsp black pepper
    • 1/4 tsp black salt
    • Oil for frying

    Instructions

    • In a small bowl, combine the eggs, green chilies, coriander, cornflour, salt and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
    • Put the mixture in the roll wraps and roll them tightly.
    • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry egg rolls for 2-3 minutes or until crispy and golden brown. Egg Chop Roll is ready to serve.
