In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
Season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
Melt butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add chicken, green onion and green chili. Cook and stir for 1-2 minutes then pour egg mixture over it.
As eggs set at the edges, with spatula, gently lift cooked portion to allow uncooked egg to flow underneath.
Cook on low flame for 2 minutes or until almost set.
Sprinkle cheese on half of the omelette.
Fold other half over cheese.
Remove from the heat and transfer into a platter.

Today I am sharing a sweet French toast recipe.. Which is my mom’s recipe and I had enjoyed it in my Childhood. This French Toast Recipe uses vanilla extract and cinnamon to bring a richness of flavor. Pick your favorite bread and serve with butter and fresh berries.

In a shallow bowl, beat together the egg, milk, sugar, cinnamon powder and vanilla.
Keep aside.
Heat a lightly oiled griddle over medium-high heat.
Dunk each slice of bread in egg mixture, soaking both sides.
Place on the hot griddle and cook on both sides until golden.
Remove from the heat and take it out in a serving platter.
Drizzle with honey.
Top with strawberry slices. Delicious French Toast is ready to serve. ENJOY!!

Melt butter in a heavy bottom frying pan or skillet.

Fry vermicelli in it for 1-2 minutes or until lightly browned.

Scoop out the Vermicelli with a slotted spoon.

Keep aside.

Heat evaporated milk in heavy bottom pan to a boil.

Add fried Vermicelli. Cook for 15 minutes or until vermicelli is tender.

Stir in the kewra essence and sugar and Cook for 5 minutes or until the sugar is consumed.

Turn off heat.

Stir Almonds and raisins.

Dish it out. Stir khoya in it.

Ingredients
1 kg chicken
2-1/2 cups boiled chick peas
1/8 cup pink lentil ( masoor dal), soaked in water for 30 minutes
2 cups chicken stock (yakhni)
2 onions, chopped
1 tomato
1 tbsp garlic paste
1 tbsp ginger paste
1 teaspoon crushed red chili
1 teaspoon red pepper
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
4 tbsp fresh coriander leaves,chopped
2 green chilies
1/2 cup Oil or ghee
Directions:
Step 1
In a vessel, put half cup of oil and fry onions in it until brown.
Step 2
Then add garlic-ginger paste and green chillies. Fry for 1 minute and then add the spices; stir for 2-3 seconds.
Step 3
Now, add the tomatoes and put enough water to allow the tomatoes to tenderize.
Step 4
When the tomatoes are tender, add chicken and allow the chicken to cook in its own water on medium heat.
Step 5
Let the water dry up.
Step 6
Add chickpeas, pink lentil (masoor dal) to the cooked chicken.
Step 7
Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
Step 8
Now add chicken stock to make the gravy.
Step 9
Cook for 20 minutes or until gravy is thickened. Dish it out.
Step 10
Garnish with coriander leaves and green chilies. Murgh Cholay is ready to serve.
Serve with hot naan or chapatis and salad.

Rinse and drained chicken properly.

Heat oil in a large pan and fry the chicken pieces for 15 minutes or until golden brown; then remove from the oil and set aside.

Again heat 1 cup of oil in a pot, add bay leaves, cinnamon stick, black cardamom pods, star aniseed, cumin seeds,nutmeg and mace into it.

Cook for 2 minutes to bring out the aroma of the spices.

Then add 1 onion and fry until onions become crispy and golden.

Add the ginger – garlic paste and saute for a minute.
Step 7
Add the browned chicken and season with chili powder, salt, turmeric and coriander powder.

Now add the chicken stock and 1/2 cup of water , bring to a boil then cover and simmer on low heat for 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked.

Dissolve wheat flour in 1/2 cup of water and add into nihari, cook for 10-15 minutes on high heat .

Continuously whisking to avoid lumps.

Then add aniseed and black pepper ; stir well.

In a separate pan fry onion in the remaining 1/2 cup of oil/ ghee and add to nihari.

Put the lid on and simmer on low flame for 10 minutes.

Dish it out. Garnish with chopped green chilies , ginger, chopped coriander and lime wedges.Delicious Chicken Nihari is ready to serve. ENJOY!!
