Nan Khatai is an Persian /Indo-Pakistani butter cookie that is made with ghee(clarified butter), sugar, all-purpose flour, gram flour, cardamom, and roasted almonds and pistachios. Do try it.
Add sugar and cardamom powder.Beat until light and fluffy.
Now take a separate bowl, sift flour, baking powder,gram flour and baking soda.
Now fold into ghee mixture.
Stir in the roasted almonds and pistachios.
Now roll out the dough, cut into rounds with a cookie cutter.
Put nan khatai on a greased baking tray.
Brush them with egg yolks.
Place baking tray in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until done.
Remove from the oven and let it cool completely. Lahori Nan Khatai is ready to serve.

1-1/2cupscandied pineapple chunks
2cupsgolden raisins
2cupschopped cashew
1-1/2cupscandied cherries
1cupdried currants
1/2cuporange juice
2tablespooncandied orange peel
2tablespooncandied citron peel
Instructions
Method
hop raisins, cherries and pineapple.
In a mixing bowl, combine together the chopped fruit with currants, orange peel, and citron.
Soak in orange juice for 2-3 hours.
Preheat oven to 135 degrees C.
Place a small pan of water in the oven.
Line three loaf pans with doubled waxed paper.
Now Place butter and confectioner’s sugar in a large bowl.
Beat until light and fluffy.
Beat egg yolks in a separate bowl.
Then stir in the butter mixture.
Stir in fruit, juice, and cashew.
Gradually stir in the sifted flour.
In a clean bowl, beat the egg whites to peaks.
Fold into batter.
Fill pans 2/3 rd full.
Bake for 2 hours or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Turn on a wire rack and let them cool completely.
Cut into slices and save in an air-tight container. Delicious White Fruit Cake is ready to serve.

1loaf French breadabout 18 inches long
2tablespoonbuttermelted
1cupleftover chicken tikkashredded
1/2cuppizza sauce
1capsicumcubed
1 tomatoseeds removed and cubed

1/2cupParmesan cheesegrated
1/2teaspoondried oregano
a pinch of garlic salt
a pinch of red pepper flakes
Instructions
Method
Preheat oven to 180 Degree C.
Slice the French bread right down the middle.
Flatten out each piece by pressing it firmly with your hands.
In a small bowl, combine together the butter, garlic powder, Parmesan cheese.
Spread butter mixture evenly on both loaves of bread.
Now Place bread on a baking tray and bake for 5 minutes or until lightly toasted.
Remove from the oven and spread pizza sauce onto the french bread.
Top with onion, chicken, tomato, capsicum and cheese.
Sprinkle dried oregano over them.
Bake for another 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Cut into serving slices. Delicious French Bread Pizza is ready to serve.

Today I’m bringing one of my favorite recipes _ “Bakery Style Chicken Patties”. A buttery, flaky pastry crust with warm, creamy chicken filling. I don’t know about you, but just typing this is making me hungry.

This Chicken Patties recipe is super-friendly. It starts with cooked, shredded chicken. Traditional Pakistani chicken puff pastry has shredded chicken, onion that are cooked in the butter and flour mixture. And you can definitely add those in if you’d like.
But I makes it without them and I don’t see a reason to fix things that are already perfect.

Now add the sour cream, mayonnaise, black pepper, salt and tomato ketchup.
Sour cream and mayonnaise will release water, but if the mixture is dry add about a 1/4 cup water so the flavors get a chance to blend.
Cover the lid and cook for 10 minutes or until all water dries up.
Preheat oven at 350 degree F or 170 degree C.
Roll the puff pastry and cut into rounds by using a round cookie cutter.
Sandwich chicken filling between two round pieces of puff pastry.
To seal the edges use water. and press with fork around the edges.
Brush the tops of the patties with egg wash.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes or until the pastry is puffed and the tops are golden brown.
Remove from the oven. Chicken Patties are ready to serve. ENJOY!

Cut chicken wings into 3 sections; discard wing tips and keep aside.

In a medium bowl, beat together the egg and buttermilk until amooth and well combined.

I had some extra chicken cooked and was looking to use it in a super fast and easy recipe. Since I also had few slider buns in my fridge, this fit the bill perfectly. I love the idea of the Slider cups (I can’t wait to get creative and try other things with that concept) and the filling was ooey-gooey, warm and cheesy. This is a very quick and simple way to get that comfort food taste/feeling.
Here is my first try. I was thrilled they turned out just right. They look so Lip smacking and appetizing (thus the name Lip Smacking Cheesy Chicken Cups). These are just as beautiful as they are delicious. My taste buds are going crazy, and I cannot wait for the next course in this meal. For a change of pace from your average dinner, this Cheesy Chicken Cups fits the bill! Unusual as it may be, once you take a bit, you will be reminded of some of your favorite chicken recipes. This is cheesy, flavorful, and will be loved by the whole family. Try making it tonight!

Alright, lets move to the cheesiness of this recipe.
Cheesy chicken filling, extra cheese on top and pepper flakes all stuffed up in a crispy slider bun shell. Slider Buns are great for so many appetizers. I used regular sized muffin tins, so I used bun half per cup, overlapping the corners so that all the edges are covered. This whole recipe is sure to leave you stuffed and satisfied!

Boil fish flesh with little salt till they are cooked.

Pour oil in a pan, as the oil becomes hot put onion, ginger, garlic & green chillies and half fry. You have to stir it continuously.

Kashmiri Naan is nutty and tasty, liked for breakfasts and served best in tea parties. This Kashmiri naan stuffed with a sweet cashew, almond and cherry paste. This Kashmiri blend of taste can be easily made at home.
Place flour, 2 tsp sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
Step 2
Add milk, egg and vegetable oil. Mix well
Step 3
Knead a soft dough by usinf 2-3 tablespoo water ( if required).
Step 4
Cover the dough with a wet cloth, and keep aside in a warm place for a few hours.

To Make Stuffing:
Place 1 cup sugar, cashew nuts, almonds and maracshino cherry in a food processor.
Step 6
Process ingredients to a fine paste.
Step 7
To Make Kashmiri Naan:
Divide dough into fourteen equal portions.
Step 8
Shape into balls.
Step 9
Roll into a round shape, approximately 6 inches in diameter.
Step 10
Put 1 tablespoon of the stuffing in the center of it.
Step 11
Fold the edges of the dough up over the stuffing and pinch it together to enclose the stuffing.
Step 12
Press with your hands to flatten the dough into a large 9-inch diameter circle.
Step 13
Preheat broiler in oven to the highest possible temperature.
Step 14
Heat a cast iron skillet over very high heat until very hot.
Step 15
Slap the naan onto the skillet.
Step 16
Immediately place the skillet under the broiler; it will puff up.
Step 17
Cook for 5 minutes, or until the naan turned golden brown.
Step 18
Remove from the oven, wrap in clean napkin and make the other naan’s with the same way. Kashmiri Naan is ready to serve.

Step 1 : Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a wok over high heat.

Step 2:Stir fry onion, garlic, green peas, carrot, green pepper and cabbage for few minutes or until crisp tender.

Step 3: Stir in the instant noodles (crushed) and soy sauce. Add seasoning and mix well.

Step 5: Transfer into a bowl. Keep aside to cool completely.

Step 6:Place a roll wrapper on a clean surface with a corner pointing towards you.Put 1 tablespoon vegetable mixture into the center of the wrap. Brush the edges with egg yolk or cornflour mixture.

Step 7:Fold corner over the filling then roll up from corner to corner, folding edges in to enclose filling.

Step 8:Repeat this method with remaining wrappers and vegetable filling. And make twenty spring rolls.

Step 9:Heat oil in a wok over medium heat.

Step 10: Fry spring rolls in batches.

Step 11: Fry on both sides for 1-2 minutes or until they turn crispy and golden in colour.

1packet instant noodles
1tbspvegetable oil
2cupsshredded cabbage

salt to taste
20frozen spring roll wrappersthawed
oil for frying
2tablespooncornflourdissolved in a lil water and make a thick paste or a egg yolk

Add onion, garlic, green peas, carrot, green pepper and cabbage. Cook and stir for few minutes or until crisp tender.
Add instant noodles (crushed) and soy
sauce.
Season with salt and pepper.
Turn the heat off and take it out in a
bowl.
Set aside to cool.
Place 1 wrapper on a board with a corner pointing towards you.
Brush edges with cornflour mixture.
Spoon 1 tbsp vegetable mixture into the corner of the wrap.
Fold corner over the filling then roll up from corner to corner, folding edges in to enclose filling.
Repeat with remaining wrappers, cornflour mixture and filling.
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium high heat.
Deep fry spring rolls, in batches, for 2-3 minutes or until crispy and golden.
Remove from the oil and drain on kitchen paper. ENJOY!

Notes: Keep remaining wrappers covered with damp tea towel.Serving Suggestions: Serve hot with sweet chilli sauce.
